The Berlin Senate Department for Urban Development cordially invites to submit ideas for an alternative use of the terminal building at Berlin-Tempelhof. The online public dialogue on the whole airfield, which was held last year, is now being followed by a call for ideas for the building.

The Senate Department for Urban Development wishes to attract national and international partners and investors with specific ideas for projects and capital investments. The future use of the airport terminal requires strategies and plans that will prove economically viable and sustainable in the long term.

The aim is to produce a utilization concept for Tempelhof for people interested in a limited interim use and for investors seeking a long-term alternative use of the airport building that has a clear "market" focus. The airport building, which enjoys heritage status, is of crucial importance for future developments.
